Location: Red Oaks Carefree RV 55+ Resort, Bushnell FL close to Walmart, restaurants(great Mexican at a place right in front), and Winn Dixie Dates Stayed: All of March 2015 My favorite spot so far! Great staff and people that return every year! Atmosphere: Highway and Train Noise, large park. About 250 stay year round. Good mixture of park models and campers. Type of spots: Level and plenty of room. Some have concrete pads. No picnic tables, fire pits, or BBQ grill. Laundry: Laundry rooms throughout the park. $1.50/wash $1/dry Shower House: Clean shower houses throughout the park Activities: Fabulous billiards hall with 6 tables. 3 heated swimming pools. 1 hot tub. 3 activity halls. Lots from November - April; then as people head north, there are fewer to choose from. In season there is shuffle board, pinochle, Triple Play, bingo, music jams, card bingo, 65, euchre, poker, mahjong, fitness classes, ham radio club, chess club, wood workers, chainsaw carving, quilting, dances..... You are only bored if you want to be. Wifi: Must use Tengointernet which cost $30 a month. I use an iPad and had awful service. When I called Tengointernet, they admitted that they needed to upgrade their equipment in that park. They did compensate me for my troubles. Exercise room: Great room. Treadmill, bike, weights, elliptical. Super clean and cool. They have a fine dog park as well. 2 sections small dog/large

Jerry was very nice to meet us after hours, front desk ladies were absolutely fantastic. No showers where we parked, but small hall very clean. Nice heated pool. Loved this community. Will be back.

This RV resort is very large and sites are spacious. Wi-Fi, Cable, Laundry, Heated Pools and activities abound. We stayed a month and used this as our base camp to see Crystal River and all of the area attractions. This is a community for mature RV'ers and it was quiet.

We booked through the 800 number and arrived after the office closed. We learned that the 800 operator was using an outdated map, so it was very difficult to find our space. Still not sure if we stayed in the right one. It was a clean nice park. The lady working the desk when we left was very nice and apologized for our inconvenience. Would stay again.
