GREAT surprise Rv park Lots of free grassy space not many campers. Right on the Red River. Loads of trails and space for dogs or children to play A lot of pull throughs; 50 amps and full hook ups Lots of trees and shade and restaurants and Town of Grand forks walking distance Well maintained grassy sites. Friendly camp host !!
We were very pleased with the state campground in downtown East Grand Forks. We wished we could have stayed longer. The campground is right on the riverfront Red River) and in walking distance of a nice movie theater, a Cabellas store, several interesting restaurants, and shopping. Five hundred homes were removed from the flood area of 1997 and a beautiful park is was put in their place. The campground section is in a very convenient place for us in the park. The cost was $33 per night along with a state park fee of $5 per day (weekly or yearly passes are recommended if staying in this or any other MN park). Lovely walkway along the river and free wifi. Overall we were very impressed.
Close to everything down town. Nice staff. Cram bathrooms and hot showers. Just what we needed. Level drive through spots.
