We were very pleased with the state campground in downtown East Grand Forks. We wished we could have stayed longer. The campground is right on the riverfront Red River) and in walking distance of a nice movie theater, a Cabellas store, several interesting restaurants, and shopping. Five hundred homes were removed from the flood area of 1997 and a beautiful park is was put in their place. The campground section is in a very convenient place for us in the park. The cost was $33 per night along with a state park fee of $5 per day (weekly or yearly passes are recommended if staying in this or any other MN park). Lovely walkway along the river and free wifi. Overall we were very impressed.

Close to everything down town. Nice staff. Cram bathrooms and hot showers. Just what we needed. Level drive through spots.

Easy to get to. Friendly helpful staff. WIFI a bit iffy but doable. Take the time to check out various sites if you are over 40 ft. There are plenty of flat sites available and some are a bit tilted but take the moment to check them out. Great restaurants near by

Great campground. Huge pull-through, semicircle, full hookup, dog-friendly sites. Easy in and out and no problems with trees and slides. Very grassy, along the Red River. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and theaters at Riverwalk Centre. Quick walk or drive across the bridge to downtown Grand Forks, ND. Would definitely stay here again. Traveling with a 40 ft. 5th wheel.
