This is a very peaceful campground. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Very clean and well kept. Ponds could be cleaned out to make for easier fishing though, lots of weeds around edges. We will definitely come back again.

The owners need to figure out why they are loosing so many permanent campers this year.

The physical campground is nice BUT the owners are rude!!!While we were checking in we witnesses one of the owners running out to a seasonal camper as they were pulling in yelling and screaming at them about them selling their deck that was on their site. Then the same owner proceeded to snap at us as we were checking in. There is nothing to do there. The store and rec room close at 6:00 PM. I guess I should not really call it a store because there is nothing in it except candy, soda and ice. If you arrive later than that you are on your own. They posted that there was a hay ride on Saturday at 2:00 PM and that never happened. BEWARE this park allow golf carts so watch out if you are walking cause there is no speed limit for the golf carts and the people driving them are too busy trying to hold onto their beers as they are trying to drive. I am very confident that I will never book another weekend at this campground!!!

About

Whether it's fishing for bass in a tranquil pond or whooshing down a roller coaster at Darien Lake; relaxing by the fire under a canopy of hardwoods or exploring the rich history of the Erie Canal; enjoying pancakes with newfound friends or biking the Erie Canal Heritage Trail, Red Rock Ponds can be your destination in itself, or can be just the beginning of your summer adventures. For serious anglers, both of our larger ponds are known for good bass fishing, and for the kids, we have a large population of sunfish. All of our pond fishing is catch-and-release, and does not require a license. A short 1-minute walk across the road is all that separates our guests from all that the Erie Canal has to offer, from canoeing to biking down the Heritage Trail along the Canal's shore. But we'll certainly understand if, once your see our resort, you just want to stay right here. That's why we have a large recreation hall, a well-stocked store, a pancake breakfast and plenty of peace and quiet to keep you satisfied all summer long. There are paddle boats, row boats and canoes for your use along with a designated swim area with a sandy beach for you to enjoy. We are currently accepting reservations and would love to hear from you.
