This is a very peaceful campground. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Very clean and well kept. Ponds could be cleaned out to make for easier fishing though, lots of weeds around edges. We will definitely come back again.
The owners need to figure out why they are loosing so many permanent campers this year.
The physical campground is nice BUT the owners are rude!!!While we were checking in we witnesses one of the owners running out to a seasonal camper as they were pulling in yelling and screaming at them about them selling their deck that was on their site. Then the same owner proceeded to snap at us as we were checking in. There is nothing to do there. The store and rec room close at 6:00 PM. I guess I should not really call it a store because there is nothing in it except candy, soda and ice. If you arrive later than that you are on your own. They posted that there was a hay ride on Saturday at 2:00 PM and that never happened. BEWARE this park allow golf carts so watch out if you are walking cause there is no speed limit for the golf carts and the people driving them are too busy trying to hold onto their beers as they are trying to drive. I am very confident that I will never book another weekend at this campground!!!
This could have been a 5 star review except the park has rules that they do not enforce. Otherwise it's pretty, well kept, we enjoyed the bike path and proximity to small towns. When the park fills up the campground becomes a free for all. Loud music from other sites, people walking around with obvious alcoholic beverages, and absolutely no regard for their fellow campers. The sites are obviously overcrowded with visitors drinking and making noise. Quiet time is a suggestion rather than a rule. What a joke. During the week we were here we had very respectful neighbors. Unfortunately they left by the weekend and the park filled and needless to say the result was as above. Had planned to come back with other family members. Maybe during the week. Never never come back for a weekend. Left a day early.
We've never had so much fun at a campground. They had free hot dogs and drinks on saturday, Refreshment and happy hour on sunday. Three Brothers winery was there on Saturday and we had a blast with Mac. The owners went out of their way everytime we needed something. They were friendly and so accodmating to everyone. I love Red Rock Ponds. It is so beautiful and a wonderful camping experience.
