Check power pedestal before you settle in. State needs to fix some of them!
Retired and trying to see the Black Hills the $20 is ok for the night but the high dollar park permit just doesn't make since to me. If I was from here (Huskerville) where we could stay here anytime we wanted may make it seem alright but one night passing through makes me not like any of the state of Nebraska parks! Will go back looking for other sites.
Stayed overnight and loved it. Randy, the camp host greeted us and gave us direction for our stay. We parked towards the lake and were treated to a beautiful sunset, many bunnies and a light show of lightning bugs in the evening. Well maintained grounds and restrooms.
Forgot to mention a family of wild turkeys cam strolling through in the morning!
