Typical KOA
By user-5226683... on 2017-10-23.
This one had long, level pull throughs. Due to 4th of July busyness, stayed in water/electric only section. This CG is out in the country with wonderful views of pastures, hay fields and horses. Have some nice views of OR mnts to the W. Facilities were clean and would stay here again if in area. It's 7 miles from Madras and 18 miles from Redmond, and very close to Lake Billy Chanook.

The managers are great, the sites are level, ample and shaded. What more could a person want?
Visited with a 27 ft travel trailer.

Terrible power
By user-5161710... on 2017-10-23.
I was there from 20 June to20 July 2016.
Power was under voltage all month and really bad during the 4th. The electrical panel was heating up from being under sized and just a bad installation. Look at posted picture, to me that's dangerous spraying water to lower the temperature of the panel and it wasn't even in the 90*. Water pressure during the day dropped to 20 PSI when they were watering. Not a great value especially for a 30 day stay. $31 a night, We've stayed at really nice places for $700. a month this place was $1000.00 for 30 days.

Really nice park!
By user-5840398... on 2017-10-23.
The staff was awesome and helpful and were big fans of my 1955 restored vintage Aloha camper. It was my first camping experience, and they set the bar high. The bathrooms are GREAT! Nice, private showers, working locks, hand soap, and paper towels. These things have become important to me now that Ive stayed at lesser equipped parks. Wifi is really spotty, but works ok at certain times of day/night. If you need food and supplies, Madras is nice, but Redmond is awesome with everything you need.

Nice overnight

Nice place. Simple but covers it all. I bet it can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

Convenient, easy access from highway
By user-6341709... on 2019-08-09.
Arriving in the dark and leaving early in the morning, $43 was a bit pricey but this easy access and convenient location was trouble free. Late registration was straightforward upon our arrival and finding an open spot that we could just drive into was great. Washrooms and showers were clean and provided lots of hot water. Looks like a well designed park with good facilities.

I'd stay here again!
By user-5390134... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-06-28 to 2019-06-29
Stayed only 1 night but staff was very friendly- had an ice cream social the 1 night we were there (from a local company) and a pancake breakfast was scheduled for the following morning- didn't take advantage of that due to our departure time. Everything was consistent per our reservation and we even received a confirmation email 1 week before we were scheduled to arrive which I really appreciated. Pull thru was nice and wide, no issues with the 30amp power; cost with the KOA discount was $40.75.
