Reviews for RedRock RV & Camping Park

Beautiful setting! It's a bit off the beaten path but well worth the miles if you're looking for quiet solitude away from the crowds in West Yellowstone. It's about a 30 minute drive to the park. Priced high for the amenities. Wifi and Verizon were very spotty. Would stay again.

| Peaceful and fun!

Thoughtful and friendly staff, they personally guide you to your site. Sites are grassy with shade trees and level gravel pads. Huge lighted dog path, and off leash areas too. A few long term people there, young couples, retired folks and more. People come here to fish, ATV, bike, and bird watch. This the the perfect home base for a Yellowstone visit. It is remote so come prepared, but the views and the quiet were incredible. We sat outside, stargazing and enjoying a fire each night. We walked to Henry's Lake and fished. This is an awesome park!!!

We stayed at this party a few years back and it could not have been any better. We enjoyed it very much and we will be planning on going back there again.

We stayed a night here. Very quiet and peaceful. We booked in advance so we got a spot with an awesome view. Wifi was pretty good.

OK place, but a little over rated and over priced in my opinion. West Yellowstone options are much better due to proximity to the park but this is almost as expensive for the middle of no where

We have been on the road for 5 weeks and this campsite was just what we needed. Staff was very friendly and took pride in the park. A "diamond in the rough" is how I would describe it complete with open range cattle.

| Great experience

These folks bent over backward to accommodate a last minute big rig. I would not call this a big rig site but they made it work and You will not find better hosts. The park is isolated and has some wonderful views. We started in a site they are expanding into a big rig area. I look forward to coming back when it is complete. Every guest is escorted to their site at check-in and they go over everything you need to know about the park. This a great area to base for Yellowstone and lots of other activities outside the park. It is a small park and all the staff called me by name from day one. Internet was a bit difficult but to be expected. I highly recommend this park to anyone who wants to be off the main drag of Yellowstone and enjoy some real hospitality. I traveled in a 45 ft. Marathon.

| Super Nice

A little off the beaten track but that's the nice part. Beautiful and quite. Could use a few more bathroom stalls, one per set is a bit lame for a place with this many spots. All and all I will come back for the quite. Lots of dogs too.

| It was my wife's favorite rv park.

Very nice view! treated us very well. Water went cold in the showers but they said it was a fluke. We would stay there again.

I can not say enough about this place can hardly wait 2 go back next year..The staff knowledge around this place was great from hiking to off roading to the quaint drives in the area we thought this was just a good as Yellowstone. Dog friendly felt like home..

| Crowded money hungery place

By user-6042212... on 2017-10-23.

It looked like it would be a nice place to stay, so we made a reservation for three campers. They took a down payment. When we got there they had our costs all screwed up and could not figure out what was still owed for a long time. They also wanted to charge more if we set up a small tent for kids in the site we were rv'ing in. Also wanted more for a screen tent in another one of our party's site. The mosquitoes were very bad that trip. Also, you can not see the lake. I would look at the state park first and save your money. Hope that this review will help others.

| Beautiful setting, nice park

Mountains and fields all around, helpful and friendly staff. Off the highway a bit, so quiet. Pricey, but good location, as we spent night here, then moved into the park the next day.

We were there in May 2019 and the weather was terrible, we were put in a mud hole, internet was very weak ( staff was friendly and view was excellent) and the 5 mile road in was terrible. Left park a day early for warmer weather.

As with most RV parks, it s all about what you are looking for. If you like to ride off road vehicles, enjoy solitude in a beautiful western mountain valley but don t care about being close enough to town for conveniences then Red Rock if for you. The sites are mostly level and there are full hookups with easy to negotiate spaces. It is gravel and dirt in over half the park, even though they advertise green grassy sites . The newer side of the park has not grown in so it is mostly dirt. There are nice concrete patios on most of the pull-throughs throughout the site. It is generally windy here so you need to prepare for this. The Wi-Fi is intermittent and weak for the most part. TV reception is non-existent so if that s important, look elsewhere. The staff does have a decent collection of DVD movies for a $2 rental fee so that s an option if you need entertainment. The staff is very nice and they are trying very hard to have a great RV park. They rent 2 and 4 seat ATVs and there are miles and miles of trails to ride with wonderful views and wildlife viewing opportunities. They even have a pickle ball court if you like to play. Because this park is near Yellowstone National Park, you will pay a bit more for a space. The park is a 30-minute drive from West Yellowstone Montana making it within striking distance for park activities.

| Nicely remodeled!

This is an ideal location for fishing on Henry's Lake and exploring the nearby dirt roads and trails with your UTV or Jeep. The park recently added a bunch if new, spacious pull-thru sites. Our spot was in the older section, but was HUGE, with a nice big grass area between us and our neighbor. The office is new, with a nice covered patio area and a pickleball court! The bathrooms and showers were clean and worked great. the WiFi was just ok, but worked fine for checking email and social media.

We were put in one of the new back in sites. We have a 45 class A. Ended up putting 6 blocks under back tires Still not completely level. Staff helped and said they would see what they could do to refund $ if we chose to leave Early

Nice clean park. The staff works hard to keep the park up and make it a nice place to stay. I love that they escort you to your site and help you park. It wasn t as close to Yellowstone as was suggested, but we were glad to have a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. The staff was really friendly too and even threw a potluck for all of the campers, to include a live fiddler band. The sites are large with big grassy yards at each, perfect for the dog. We would return to this park without hesitation. Only suggestion, BRING EXTRA BUG SPRAY.

Wide and long spacious pull thrus with full hook ups. Awesome mountain views. Access to off road vehicle trails. Rodeo and BBQ very close. Well kept grounds and hosts were awesome. 30 mins to west Yellowstone.
