We stayed here in a Prevost 45' with a tow. Plenty of room in the E row. Great location which is convenient access to forest drives. The GIANT REDWOOD trees are spectacular! Pictures simply don't do justice to the majestic beauty they present. Great staff. Nice cleaning station to clean your catch. We were there during the King Salmon season and in the 2 weeks we were there, we managed to fill our freezer with 65 pounds of wonderful salmon! We will surely be back again. Paul & Gloria E
A little higher price than we thought it should be. Decent size sites. Looks like the new management is working on getting the park back up to its potential.
We booked a pull through 1 month ahead of stay. The spot we were give (11 a) was to small for our 30 foot 5th wheel and tow truck... We ended up have to back out after spending a good 10 minutes just getting the truck hooked up to 5th wheel.. lucky for us the folks behind us left one day before we did ...giving us enough room to back out. Pull through is pull through . .. staff that checked us in did not have much knowledge of camping. Just took our money .... July, 2016. J.
We loved the location, very close to the redwoods, the beach at crescent city, and two small golf courses. The setting was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed campfires in the fire pit at our site. I agree with other reviews regarding the pull through sites. It took us quite a few adjustments to get our 29 foot trailer spaced appropriately and level. I would reserve a back in space next time.
We stayed a week and were happy. Close to many sights. Perhaps a tad overpriced, we we're in the front and there was noise from the traffic, but not too bad. We pulled through 11a with our 29' TT and we're able to pull out with a large 5er in the space next to us and parked too far back. We will probably come back here!
We stayed overnight at 50.00. The park is clean and well maintained. Full hook ups. We stayed in the rear of the park and had very little road noise.
We enjoyed this campground off season and enjoyed the solitude. We had a pull through site which was fairly easy to get into and everything worked as expected. The bathrooms were clean. The person working the desk was nice and got us to our spot quickly. There is a lot to do and see within an easy drive. We would definitely stay again.
