The scenery is great and they had a lot for the kids to do. They had a great for and play area for the kids. Pool was nice and clean. Store was well stocked. They had a few events for the kids that they really enjoyed (Ice cream Social and Rock painting). Now for the But: Power was low at 107 volts at the pedestal which cause my surge protector to cut out every time we tried to use the coffee maker. The bathrooms could use updating and toilets are small. Wife didn't like how expensive it was to do a load of laundry. Lastly, the site we had was very slanted and I couldn't get the RV even close to level. This also made using the sewer impossible. The sewer hookup port was about a foot about the RV dump port. Had to dump a little into the hose then lift it to get the Grey and Black emptied.
This place is awesome nice family atmosphere the family that owns and runs this place all are amazing
Rustic. The only nice part of this park is the trees.
Nice place overall. A bit overcrowded, but everyone is very friendly
In the middle of the redwoods both the staff and resort are great nice family park very safe would recommend to anyone I know
This is a wonderful spot in the redwoods right on the Eel River. The owners are are super nice, the facilities are clean and kept, water is clean and voltage is correct. Gravel sites are close to level, WiFi is pay after an intro session, and cell reception is spotty, but, hey, you're camping. There's a bunch of stuff for the kids and even an English pub. It would be a bit tight for a large MH (over 32') and I'm guessing it's crowded at high season, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Dusty dirt roads which have dirt devils in the wind. Voltage drops when we try to use our microwave with nothing else on. Sites very close together. Bathrooms need a makeover. No exhaust fans! No latch on commode door. Office staff friendly. Park is a great location. Don't know if we'd stay here again.
