Shady sites, well away from any highway noise. Lots of ants.

Nice and clean. Very family oriented and friendly. The only negative was the cable didn't work but we were still able to get 3-4 channels with the antenna. No outside firewood allowed so be prepared to buy from the park store at $5 per pack of 5-6 pieces. Overall we loved it and the kids had a ball. We would recommend to friends.

Just passimg through headed from Florida to Indiana. Great park. Park has full hook ups and each space is well laid out and private. I would definitely stay here again. Paid $40 for FHU. Maybe a little pricey but nice.

Nice shady sites with water and electric. Easy to level in a quiet park. Cable hookup worked fine for us. offered senior discount.

| Great state park

Lovely state park. A real hidden treasure. About 4-5 miles off 75 so very convenient. Cost for a water/electric site was $32.40 a night including tax. You also have to pay a one time $5 GA state park parking pass fee, but that's valid for the length of your stay. Amenities include swimming, a boat ramp, a playground, and a mini golf course right near the campground ($5/person, seems to be play as much as you would like). They only take reservations if you are staying more than 2 nights. However the campground had a large number of available spots when we arrived on a Saturday night in july. There is a gate which closes at 10pm, but late check-in between 5-10pm is available with the host in the campground and is well marked with signage. Only downside was that there were TONS of ants everywhere. Be careful if you're in a tent or want to eat outside a bunch.
