We stayed here because of the cost, had I known what we were getting into, I would have stayed elsewhere. Pros: +Nice Kids play area +Nice Picnic area +Large sites Cons: -Flies, flies, and more flies. And by flies I mean hundreds-upon-hundreds of flies -Power poles were ancient, and in disrepair. I am glad I had a surge protector, or I would have had major concerns plugging in -Flies -Shards of broken glass everywhere in our site and the 2 on either side -Bits of trash all over. All kinds of trash, from glass to q-tips to bits of plastic -Sites are sand -No stops on back in sties, which back up to the pond -Water level was at least 5' below normal. (Nothing they could do about that, but it is a factor) -No after hours instructions or information. We had reservations, but there was nothing waiting for us, and nothing in the email confirmation they sent. Had it not been for the long-term resident that was passing, we would not have know what to do. "Pick a spot and check in in the morning." -Flies -Septic dump station started to back up while I was dumping my grey water. Had to keep burping the line -Smell. San Jacinto is home to a lot of dairy farms, and when the wind blows, you can smell it like you are one of the farms (again, nothing they could do about that, but it is a factor) -The long term stay area looked like a slum
