Reviews for Rifrafters Campground

| Good place to stay

The campground is at the top of a hill. Drive is kinda step / gravel. Can be difficult to navigate up and down. Needs to be improved for rigs. They have few sights, but it is quite when i was there (April 1st week 2017). The bath house is nice inside, don't let the outside judge the inside. Camping spots have level pads. Cable tv is not worth having, digital TV offers more so no need to even connect the provided cable. No amenities to speak of which is fine with me but if your seeking more things to do this is not for you. Fine place to do nothing. For the price of water, Electric & sewage i believe it is a bit pricey (40.00 bucks). I would not come back here, but i did not want to do a Walmart overnight.

| Awesome campground, owner/hosts

The campground is family owned and operated. In the year they've owned this gem tucked up the hill changes and upgrades have been made: new sites (and all on concrete pads), paved driveway, laundry room and more. Bath houses are always clean. Ken, Laura and their sons are always available to assist. We were there a month and this place is the best we've stayed.

This campground has campers going in all directions, but most of them have concrete pads. there are several shady spots. Bathrooms are new and clean. The laundry needs updating and more than one washer. The staff lead you to your site and help you back in. they are real friendly and are fairly fast to respond if you have a problem. As usual there are campers that think they don't have to obey the rules and let their dogs run loose. I spoke to the camper that came in on our last day as they immediately let their dog loose and she told me to mind my own business. Most campers are friendly, buy occasionally you run into ones that think they are better than everyone else. I know the owners don't know who is like that when they rent to them, so I don't blame them unless they ignore their own rules and do nothing about it. This is not a fancy campground with lots of frills, but it was fine for us.they have a pavilion and cabins to rent. I would recommend this place. We stayed in a 35' motorhome pulling a toad and had no trouble getting into the campground. You cant' turn right with a camper when you leave because of the angle of the driveway. You will have to go left and turn around if you need too.

| Great little park, excellent hosts

Really enjoyed our three night stay in this park. Narrow road approaching and somewhat steep incline into the park however it was easy to navigate to our site. The owners/hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The bathhouse was exceptionally clean. We will absolutely look to stay here the next time we re in the area.
