| Services are Limited in Group Camping Area

Had to give a lower star rating because the group area is gravel, without cable or dump. 50 feet away, they are full service and a great resort. They offer an 9 hole golf course, which was squeezed in to an unusable hillside and We would never again play there. The Driving range put the RVs in play on the left hand side, if I hit more than a 9 iron--its flat and the balls keep rolling. Very dangerous for a normal to long hitter, The Blue Angels did fly by several times and that was really a treat. So, we may go again, but not as a group.

We like Rio Bend... it has changed a lot over the years but still pretty nice. It is always clean and the people (staff and guests) are friendly. The park has grown a lot over the years and now has a mix of "Park model" mobile homes and RVs. I would have to say there has been a nearly total migration from short term visitors to the present mostly long term residents. Lots of snowbirds in the winter and very quiet in the summer when temps can hit as high as 115 F or higher! Fishing lake, golf and nearby town located in an agricultural area. 50 amp, water, sewer and a nice pool that is nice and warm year 'round. We like it a lot!
