We chose this site due to proximity to hiking opportunities. It is halfway between Cape Ann and Lancaster PA, and we are heading south. It is a large park in the woods with relatively spacious sites. We were there in October, at a slow time, so it was very quiet. Staff was helpful. A bit remote, closest town is Saugerties, which was quaint. Individual bathroom stalls in the woods were clean and private. Laundry room was clean. 2 washers 4 dryers are probably in constant use in the summer. Sites are not level, gravel or dirt ground, unpaved road. Lots of trees help make a little privacy.

Heavily wooded making entry with a 38 foot class A more exciting than I like; also a bit pricey at $55 plus tax. The restrooms are clean but tiny.

| Wooded with tons of kid areas but small pool

These sites were large, nice and wooded giving more privacy. There were at least 10 kid fun zones ranging from swimming pool, playground, bouncing slide, paddle boats and swimming in the creek. We had a back in site with a slightly long entrance so need to have good back up skills a plus. Only down side was that the swimming pool was small for the size of this campground. There are a lot of sites and only one pool about 10'x25'. Although we used the creek, which my kids loved catching fish and tad poles, we did see that the pool could get packed! Bathrooms were clean and scattered throughout entire campground. We didn't use showers but I only saw them in one area at the front of the campground, there were 10 stalls. Overall, my kids and I loved the experience. I will most definitely be going back probably with my shower in pop up working though.
