While planning to take our Niece to her first year at Ferris College in Big Rapids we thought we could have a little forced family fun. Found this campground on good old RV Parky...and OMG. I am 67 years and have been camping about 20 of those years and have never eve stayed at a nicer place.. The grounds here are manicured to the nines, and the full timers there really put on a show, the sites on the Muskegon River are something to behold..these people are far from camping..water fountains, ticki bar's etc etc... The pool is also a real beauty, with a marina, gas dock, and store.. Staff is exceptional ... We are returning in two weeks to visit our Niece and cannot wait.. Don't pass this one up Parky Partners....go for it!!!!
Nice park. Mostly 5th wheels. Ownership park with some transient sites. Poor wi- fi. Good security
We were in the area so we stayed here for a long weekend. Front desk staff was accommodating and friendly. Most of the park is paved but there are some grass sites available. We had a larger site which was nice. It is very well maintained and groomed. Although it was mostly an older crowd (retired folks) families were welcome and children were well behaved. Not much of a party scene in the evenings but we like that so people were not rowdy. However, evenings were still active with people enjoying campfires and visiting in large groups. Camp store was just ok but carried the essentials. The little snack bar with hot food and ice cream was very nice and convient. If you love boating and travel with your boat, this place is perfect for you. Separate parking for boats with day use or the marina for longer stays. Club house and pool were very nice. WiFi was ok but better than the cable they advertise. I usually get clearer channels with antenna. Read the rules. We had damage to our awning because we couldn't stake it out in a small storm. It's golf cart galore but overall we were impressed and will come back again. Great value for full hookup. One of the best private campgrounds.
