Stayed here two nights while driving through NV. Quiet, clean and easily accessible to downtown Reno (literally walking distance if your not a lazy butt). This is a mobilehome/rv park...not a campsite. All permanent residents, with a few spaces for short stayers. Very accommodating for us, we don't ask for much. Dog friendly, clean laundry room and restrooms. Not a very social place, but somewhere to stay on your way to somewhere better.....camping wise...if you want somewhere long term, perfect.
Very nice managers, not good for easy access for BIG RIGS TRUCKS AND CARS, PARKED IN ROAD
Stayed there for 3 weeks in June. The new owners were very accommodating to my needs. Clean restrooms and grounds with lots of shade trees. Great location near the Truckee River and downtown Reno. Dog friendly.
We came to Reno for Hot August Nights. Chism has a good location and is close to downtown Reno and the Interstate. Campsites are very close together and not very private. Restrooms are close, clean and large. Beware of rates for H.A.N. week..... they triple in price. Otherwise it was ok.
Called up last minute but they found a spot for us (not easy, we're 70'). Flat dirt spot but full hookups. Clean laundry room, park mostly full time residents but park is well maintained and clean. Located alongside the river, peaceful, quiet setting with the potential for fishing. Would definitely return.
What a dump. Unsafe location better off in a Walmart parking lot
