The bus stop is right out front and easy to get to french quarter. Basic services mostly clean with hot shower. Fenced in with a gate we felt safe and OK to leave our Roadtrek for the day. However it is in a bad neighborhood so don't plan on walking around here a lot. Taxi back from the French Quarter will be about $25. Level sites and owner very helpful. Small grocery store too. We paid $40 for the first weekend of Madi Gras... And that was a very good deal!

It is not a bad area but an industrial area. The walk to the French Quarter is about two and a half hours. March great weather. Go out of the gate, turn left across the major junction and up the ramp. Yep there is a pedestrian walk away on the right side of the 4 lane bridge. The RV park has a map not good for walking. The site map has bus directions on the back. $1.5 on ride but $3 gets a day pass which includes the trams. Site rough gravel, near level. I failed to spot the cable tv.
