We pulled in with a 38ft 5th wheel, had made the reservation for a pull-thru. When we got there they only had a back-in but then the owner said he would put us in a new sight that was a pull-thru. So tight we had to line up between trees to open the slides. It wasn't a pull thru after all because my rig is so long. Owner was very rude and just kept telling me we shouldn't have bought such a big 5th wheel. We stayed 2 out of the 7 days and I had a fellow camper help us back out. Camp ground is not able to handle big rigs but they want the money and don't tell people how tight the whole camp ground is to get around in. If you have a big rig think twice about this one.
Nice quiet family campground
Nice clean well run Park gravel on the river and usually full so call for a reservation. Has a restaurant for breakfast and lunch except Sunday and Monday. Have stayed here several times and will stay again no noise from trains very minimal Highway noise.
We paid $10. more a night to park by the river. It was a beautiful spot but very hard to get into. Had picnic tables and fire ring at site. Site is gravel but very large and hard to walk on. It was base and should of had smaller gravel on top. Restrooms were small but clean. Front office was neat and tidy and pleasant. We're not allowed to burn anything but firewood you bought from them and it was $7. for 5 or 6 pieces of wood and not big pieces either. It was a beautiful place by the Nolichucky river surrounded by mountains but way over priced.
