| I got ripped off!

By user-6386159... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed for the 2016 season and signed up and paid in full for all of 2017 season as well. I'm a retired disabled military vet living on a limited income. Our situation changed and we needed to move. I was able to find a new camper to take over our site yet the campground owner refuses to prorate money I already paid even though the new campers paid in full for the same site/ same season! I did receive my security deposit back because the sites in great shape. Therefore, I GOT RIPPED OFF!

Great park. Extremely well run and clean. Didn't have a full hook up available for me for a 2 day stay but everything else was great. Nice friendly staff. Even had no problem letting me wash my coach, which is unusual anymore. Would definitely return here when in area. Nice water park attached if you have kids.

If your looking for a themed weekend with lots to do, then this is the place. Very clean, showers take quarters, water & electric hook ups, pets are welcome but 1st pet free after that $5 each, kids galore, beach, nice bar with outdoor seating and volleyball court.

We stopped here initially for 3 days. The staff placed us in a spacious spot along a copse of trees at the rear. We had planned to move to a Portage County park. The first night we ate at the Bullhead Bar and Grill on the property. The NFL special was a pizza and pitcher of beer for $17. The next night was the fish fry special. We were hooked. We extended our stay for the month we are training our 3 bird dogs in the area. Beautiful and safe with a great friendly staff.

Whether a child or adult, this campground offers something for everyone! Super for kids activities, allowing for relaxation for the adults. Wish there were some shadier trees in the open area, but there are some growing. Close to the interstate, but you don't notice as much traffic noise add you'd think. We will be going back.
