They no longer do this.
We stayed in the White Lot where they provided 30am service for a fee. The "roadway" was dirt/dead grass and very bumpy. The stickers in the dead grass were the worst I have encountered. Just laying out the carpet was a painful experience. Our poor dog yelped at least once each day when a sticker jabbed him in the paw. Not sure I would go back to that Indio Rally and stay at that awful place again.
