That is how we would describe this campground. Far enough off the highway to be peaceful and quiet but still very close to town. Camping on grass with some mature trees around to help provide a break from the sun and right on the river ... thus the name. Quite small and well kept but read your map carefully when getting there. Would stay here again and got a $1 off coupon for our next stay when we left. Very friendly folks and worth checking out.
Friendly and beautiful camp. Not large but good lot sites. Beware on google maps it is showing 2 locations. Exit 21 is the one you want. Not the one in town.
Excellent welcome, super clean site, close to town... Would recommend anytine!!
The park is a nice location for an overnight stop when traveling E-W along the southern part of Canada. The park, however, is worth avoiding. The majority of the sites do not have sewer and even when you do, they do not allow you to do laundry in your RV. The sites are gravel and very long with many trees providing shade for the area. The water pressure is so low that we had to take showers with our pump and fresh water tank. They advertise wifi, but it did not work at all even with most of the sites empty. We would recommend avoiding this campground.
