| Nice tent sites

They don't tell you it's a few miles drive down a winding gravel road. Once you get there it's a surprisingly big campground. Tent sites are right along the river. Really pretty but the showers were cold and you're lucky if your neighbors are quiet. Lots of younger adults.

| Beautiful spot on the River

If you don't mind trains (they come by about every hour and because there is a crossing into the park they blow their horn) and long gravel roads this is the place. Nice level spots and a river view. Lot's of wildlife, woodpeckers, red squirrel and deer. Very serene, but we visited in late March so not many campers. Great place for fishing! They have canoeing, river rafting and other fun activities during warmer weather. Rent or bring your own. They have a small store on site (it hadn't opened for the season). A small stage with a natural amphitheater. They don't allow dogs and they will have a security guard on hand. I suspect it get a little rowdy out there during the summer. All in all it was a nice overnight stay. If we were River tarts this would be the perfect place
