Reviews for Riverside Resort & RV Park

| Beautiful place

This RV park has one of the most beautiful settings I have been to. We stayed down by the river and it was absolutely gorgeous! The management was very friendly and accommodating and the campground host Mike was as helpful as he could be. Wonderful place.

The manager at Riverside RV park was very nice and was very accommodating with the services that were provided. Unfortunately because of the time of year there was no water allowed to be plumbed to the RV due to fear of the pipes bursting in 20 degree temps. However he allowed us to use the faucet to fill up the tanks and gave us access to one of the very nice motel rooms so that my wife and I could shower and use the restroom. It was very clean and it was a great view of the mountain and of a river running through the park. There are bathrooms and a playset for kids. It is right off the road and conveniently located just on the outside of Hatch, Ut.

I would disregard all reviews prior to 2014-2015, new owners have purchased it since early 2016 and have done a terrific job in upgrading this park. The staff are very courteous and go above and beyond to make sure guests are taken care of. The Riverside is located close to Bryce, Red Canyon and other attractions in this area, it works great for a central point to camp. We had the extreme pleasure of meeting the camp hosts Mike and Vicki, they have to be the hardest working camp hosts you will ever meet, they must work 10-12 hours a day and take true pride in the resort, they are definitely the foundation for the success of the Park. The owners of the Riverside hit the lottery with Mike and Vicki..

| Just average

The park was okay for an overnight stay. The spaces are pretty tight even though the park has lots of land. I was charged $40 cash with a good Sam discount which seemed quite high compared to other reviews I've seen on line. The restrooms were very clean. There were swarms of mosquitos and I was bitten over thirty times in just a few minutes.

| Not as advertised

We really wanted to stay here longer but it was too far away from Bryce. It must have been a nice place at one time however, it really needs major upgrades. The management was very accommodating when we cancelled the rest of our stay. With time and cash this place really could quite nice. Just not what we were expecting.

| Ok for overnight

There wasn't a tree in sight! Gravel pull thru's, had std hookups, good water pressure, right on a small river but we didn't stay at that part. Walked down there, lots of bugs on my legs walking thru the grass, not sure what they were, didn't look like mosquitoes and they flew off when brushed. Pretty windy spot. Didn't deploy the awnings. It was about 20+ miles to bryce so it wasn't really far in the car and there is a really nice place you can take your dogs on the trails with you called Red Canyon, probably 10 miles prior to Bryce. Bathrooms were clean. Kind of odd and the restaurant up front never opened when we were there. Overall, a good spot for an overnight, decent views. Not someplace i would stay more than a day. They really need trees to spruce it up. We have a webcam out the front window and I got lots of calls saying it looked kind of desolate there. Even though the coach was pointing toward the river and it was less than 200' away you could not see it.

Good power, too much water pressure, hot showers, good view ... but working on camp currently... all sites have full sun on patio in afternoon (no trees) end up sitting wrong side of rv by sewer for shade, rest room showers need work, lights out, timer on lights went off during each of my 5 showers, complained 3 times with no fix, made reservations a year in advance but was not given a great spot for 7 night stay... but it is a good location close to Bryce and 1 hour + to Zion ... friendly staff, poor maintenance
