We stayed at this RV park for a week. Very nice, close to lots of activities including many nice restaurants. Avenue of the Giants nearby. Bathrooms and showers clean and comfortable. I recommend calling ahead for reservations as they tend to stay pretty busy. I would definitely stay there again.
For what the park can control, it has done a very nice job. Modifications to its original design have been made to accommodate today's larger rigs. Enough trees are between the asphalt pads to be aesthetically pleasing but not so many as to block satellite TV reception and the extension of multiple slides. (We did have to change sites to make this happen though.) The biggest issue most will have is the road noise from the adjacent freeway. As with any facility offering easy freeway access, road noise has the potential to be bothersome. For those seeking a nicely landscaped park with small city conveniences nearby and a home-base from which to visit the southern area of Eureka or 'The Avenue of the Giants' this park would be our recommendation.
