Not a very well taken care of park, ran down with tall weeds in the playground. We requested and paid for 50 amp spot but was given a 30 amp instead. We did not go back to correct as too tired. No wifi service available and have to pay $60 deposit for cable. Restrooms and showers not clean. Next time will just keep driving. Price $29.
Hookups are there and ok (watch out for black widows in faucet connector!) and staff very nice. However the men's bathroom was in poor shape. Entire place needs sprucing up. Ok for a brief stay
This park is pretty this morning, but we had a really hard time finding it last night. The address was listed as 4100 Hwy. 50 E. Our GPS took us west from Hwy 83! We turned around and went east ans still couldn't find it. Since it was 8:00 pm, all we got was an answering machine when we called. We finally found it on Bus. 50 E! This morning the showers were being cleaned at 8:00 am instead of between 11:00 and 2:00 like the rules sheet says.
Garden City, KS . . . not too many RV campgrounds in the Western area of Kansas traveling down Hwy. #83 on to Dodge City. Not bad sites that have ample space between but it could use some sprucing up . It houses mostly permanent rv'ers. Staff was helpful & friendly. (nd)
Too many trees for large vehicles and satellite reception. Large potholes. Excessive trash around.
We stayed here in June, 2015. Very basic area. Hookups. Small pool. Check-in store with very minimum supplies. Cold drinks available. Located between an equipment storage yard on one side & a mobile home park on the other side. Very nice office staff. About one mile from a nice mall. Good for overnight stopovers. Yes I would stay again. I didn't see restroom or showers. Former KOA.
