We just needed a place to camp overnight. Called ahead and got one of the last spaces. Manager had a cone marking our spot for us when we got there. Campground is well maintained and very clean. We were pleased and will stay there again when passing through OK City.
Relatively close to most tourist attractions. All sites are narrow concrete pull throughs are short. Sewer access ports require either a long sewer hose or an RV with rear sewer gate. They are expanding in spring 2015 with more sites, amenities and space. Wifi is slow, but cable access is nice.
We were here for three nights. Pleasant, clean, well manicured sites. Off highway, but no noise. Basic setups.
Accommodated us for a late check in (around 9:30 pm). Very tight spaces and isles, though doable for a 40' MH with a toad. When I pulled in I found the sewer, water, and electric about 10' further than necessary. I requested a change and was told about the NEW expansion that is almost ready. She bumped me down there (50 some new spaces... Looked good in the dark). She gave me one with better placed hookups. Definitely better down here though everything seems well kept up. Their expansion is nice (though still tight spaces) and promises lots of new amenities (as of 9/1/16). My only complaint is that my space is far from level. I had to put some boards under my front wheels before my "tilt" senser would let me auto-level it.
We stopped for the night, was going to stay for a month for hubby's job. Showed up the weekly rate is $225 or monthly is $570. No wifi, cable, bathhouse and sites are very compact. He wanted to charge us for a extra site to park a long bed truck and storage trailer. Then backing in we got a nail in our tire, due to the construction. Please don't come here, they charge extra for everything!
Small park with close parking. Handled our 40 ft 5th wheel without a problem. Quiet and clean. Good location. Will be nice when the addition is complete.
Nothing there anymore
I like this park compared to others ... BUT, dont walk all over your future customers. I do appreciate that you took a terrible beating with the tornado, but maybe as long as the hot water don't work, the wifi is out, and the cable TV don't work , you could give a guy a dollar or two off a nights stay would go along way keeping people coming back.... Give us a break .
All the stars are for cleanliness, not for extras. Simple, concrete pads with lawn, and easy access to highways. The park is kept very clean and no unsightly rigs. No bells and whistles, just all that is needed for one night or a long visit to play tourist in Oklahoma City. Simple office, owner runs the park and is very nice. We would stay here again. We travel in a 2014 Montana 5th wheel and 2013 Dodge.
If you have a big rig like we do then this the place to stay. Beautiful, friendly and an easy access is what you will find. They are in the process of adding more big rig pull thru sites. We have a 40 foot motor home and pulling a 27 foot trailer and did not have to unhook.
Just reopened after being destroyed by tornado on May. They are trying to recoup. Not quite ready but open. It will be very nice when complete. Staff was friendly. Okay for overnight.0
They are still in the process of rebuilding from the tornado disaster back in May. Over 60 RVs destroyed and more than 20 people hospitalized. The park, a multi-story hotel and a storage business were destroyed. Over 20 of the mature trees were destryed. Half the park has reopened as of Sept. 01. All new concrete pads, all electrical was replaced. They have put new sod down and are working hard to get to the rest of the park. Full hook-ups are here. The place was devastated, but they're getting back on their feet. Come stay a night, they need the support.
Nice park not to far from the City ! Clean with concrete pads and grass at every site! Nice staff! The WiFi is terrible! Can’t get anything!
Nice, clean bath and laundry facilities. Seasonals scattered throughout but welcoming and nice people. convenient right off 35.
Trains , Trucks & Planes
On short notice we were able to make reservations for a one night stay on the way to and back from our destination. In both cases we were given a very nice, well maintained, large pull-thru site. The utilities were all set up conveniently. The staff was very friendly and accommodated us on late arrival.
The park is very well kept - nice level concrete pads. Restrooms clean and well kept. Close to most attractions. The weather was terrible - thunderstorms, high wind and hard rain. Would stay there again if go back to Oklahoma City. It is hard to find but worth it.
Very nice sites are all concrete and have a grass yard, close to downtown, reasonable price will stay again
Very nice park, convenient location, just off I-35, south of I-40, large level pads, good wi-fi and cable! Clean bath rooms and laundry!
Stayed one night, paved concrete sites, easy access. Pulled in with 40ft RV towing jeep wrangler 4 door no problem! Friendly staff!
Checked in to this park at 4pm. Was assigned a space and got set up. There is no shade and the park has a lot of freeway and train noise. But at 10pm the owner and his female employee who checked me in are banging on the side of my rig. When I asked him what I could do for him he told me I needed to register. I advised him that his employee standing with him had checked me in. He stomped off without apologizing. When I called him the following day he told me it wouldn't have happened if I had parked in the right spot. I then sent him a copy of the map that was marked for where I was. He didn't have the nerve to call me back and apologize. The signage to find this park is non existent and for all these reasons I would never go back. Please avoid this park.
Very nice. Clean and well kept. Close to downtown and Memorial. Staff and owner were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.
Very clean well kept rv park. Wide paved streets with wide concrete pads for rv. Long enough for mh and car to remain hooked up. Good spacing with pretty grass in between. Park has 4 underground storm shelters if that would become necessary. Close to interstate but quiet.
A convenient, clean stop alongside of I-35 in OKC. Big pull thru's with easy access to the city.
Very up to date park with asphalt and concrete. For the price I would normally expect amenities. There really are few and what there us (laundary) closes with office. So the park is nice, but nothing to make it above avg.
