| Fantastic Get Away
This is a great park with ample RV slots of all sizes. Some areas more congested than others. We stayed in spot #24 and it was nicely shaded most of the day. It is down hill from the shower house, but that wasn't a problem for us. There are plenty of sites to see throughout the park and trails to hike varying from .5 to 2.7 miles. Highly recommend going to the nearby Foglight Foodhouse for dinner- fantastic ambience and world class food for moderate price. We will definitely go back again- to both park and Foglight.
| Awesome Park
Excellent park. Falls better, IMHO, than Fall Creek Falls. Beautiful landscape in park and surrounding area. Poor cell coverage but excellent park wifi. We will go back with Grands so they can enjoy falls and awesome facilities!
| Wow! Very impressed.
The only thing keeping me from giving all 5 stars is the lack of a sewer connection. We had seven people in our trailer and tanks filled up quickly requiring multiple trips to the dump station. However, everything else was awesome. Beautiful tree-filled campground with nice playground, decent shower house and strong wireless internet service. Lots of nice trails, waterfalls and activities for everyone in out large party. Supplies were just outside the park at a local gas station / restaurant. Reservations were easy but be mindful of site length if bringing a trailer - not all were large enough for our 32' rig. Staff was friendly and available when needed, but not obtrusive. Overall great experience at Rock Island SP.
