Reviews for Rock Port RiversEdge RV Park and Campground

| Nice Place

By user-5823575... on 2017-10-23.

Owners are very nice folks, marshaled us in to a spot. The grounds was a little soggy but they had a lot of rain that day. Stay on the gravel and no problems. Very good wifi, electric and water hookups worked great. We stayed in a 42 foot coach with 50 amp. Will stay again.

| What a gem!

By user-5858245... on 2017-10-23.

This is a gem of a campground. Clean, level, grassy, pool, fire rings and a rubber mat that you take with you when you leave. John and Edna were very kind and welcoming to us and our children. I definitely recommend this campground.

We needed a one night stop over on our way home and found this awesome campground. John and Edna are the delightful owners rebuilding their campground after experiencing near devastation from the 2011 Missouri River flooding. They have done an amazing job so far and deserve kudos! They have a lovely place, quiet, breezy, with level lots and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They have laundry (super cute), bath house, refreshing pool (we loved having that), play ground and cabins. These two are living their retirement dream and deserve all the business we can give them. Let's help them succeed!!!

| Great place.

Owned by two of the nicest people I have met. They take great pride in keeping up with the campground. Very nice hook ups and some large lots especially in the back.

Amazing lovely well maintained campground with flowers all around. The owners John & Edna are wonderful so sweet & helpful. They take you to your site & put a welcome mat at your door. Never in our 39 campgrounds, we have been to, have ever did this. We asked about a good place to go eat @ us to a wonderful restaurant with home cooking the food was great. We went 2 times & got food to go when we left the area. I find the campground from another customer remarks on RV Parky it draw me there. The price for a 50 amp p/t was great $33.00. Would stay again & tell anyone to go there.

Very nice park, especially considering it was under water not long ago. The owners are very nice and very helpful. Clean, level, easy entrance/easy exit sites. Easy access to & from I-29. Good WiFi is a plus. Loved the pool. It was quite warm when we arrived, so we made use of the pool for quite awhile. We used the shower and restroom in our coach, so can't comment on those facilities at the park. Would certainly stay again if in area.

The camp owners are great and the campground is very well maintained. It has a small pool and playground for the kids. Excellent WiFi is a great bonus as well.

| Convenient stop over

By user-5714623... on 2017-10-23.

Stopped here for 3 days as a break from travel as we make our way to Arizona. Loved this place. John and Edna are the perfect hosts. The park is very well kept, laundry facilities were spotless, and shower house was very clean and well kept. We will return!

| Quiet, quaint, right off I 29!

By user-5247903... on 2017-10-23.

Although the floods have changed this campground's aesthetic (they have lost around 200 trees), this place is a diamond in the rough. Owned by an adorable retired couple, it is very well kept, quiet, and a perfect place to stop along I29. The couple is more than accommodating (it was pretty wet and they brought us matts to put down at our steps), they are easy to get in touch with, easy to deal with, and just genuinely nice people. They easily accommodated our 45 ft rig towing our truck. They have new 50 amp services, very clean (although under remodel) bathrooms. You won't be disappointed if you choose to stop here!

| Perfect Stopover

By user-5291000... on 2017-10-23.

We found Riversedge on RV Parky and I'm so glad we did. Only stayed overnight but would've stayed longer. The owners, John and Edna, are really lovely people who went out of their way to accommodate us. Separate mens and womens Bath House - only mention this as a previous review said it was all in one. A great place to rest your head.

A must stop if you are looking for a place to stay. Owners were super nice. Very reasonable rates. They are rebuilding from the 2011 Missouri river flood. No store yet but a nice, nice laundry room. Easy to get to from I29, less than a mile. Has all new utilities W,E and Sewer. Will stay again when in the area.

When we pulled into this little campground we met by a couple that were really nice and friendly. We will go back again when we are in the area.

We stopped here for a night on our way Mt. Rushmore. What a delightful surprise after hours on the road. John and Edna greeted us upon arrival. They are super nice. The campground is lovely, like a park. Our site was pullthrough and level so we didn't even have to unhook our toad. The owners pay attention to detail here so the grounds are tidy, modern, and clean. There is even a playground and a pool for the kiddos. We highly recommend staying here. It is right off I-29 but quiet and peaceful.

John and Edna go out of their way yo make you feel welcome at their campground. It's clean, and they have gone thru a lot to make it that way. Stayed one night with 50 amp and it was only $33. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

| Great Campground

By user-5383064... on 2018-07-06.

John and Edna were the nicest hosts at this campground. We stayed in a pull-thru site for one night. Fairly level, full hook-ups, and very clean. Grassy areas for walking dogs! Close to the interstate but no noise! The only thing that would make it super would be a fenced dog park and they have plenty of space to add one. Thanks John and Edna.

| What A Hidden Gem

By user-5358434... on 2019-08-09.

What an exceptional park. Extremely well maintained. The owners, John and his wife, live on site and are very friendly, greeting each guest and then escorting you to your site. There John even places a small rubber mat at your camper door. You can tell they have pride of ownership because everything is so well manicured. All sites are level packed gravel. They have a playground, dog walk and pool. Other amenities include a laundry and restroom. Great front office where they keep a very nice selection of ice cream.

By user-4682571... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-09-20 to 2018-09-21

What a wonderful surprise! Be sure to call ahead because they are a busy stop! It's convenient, well maintained, reasonably priced and big rig friendly. The owners are so sweet! A bit close to the highway but the sound of the corn field in the wind drowns out the highway noise.

| Great overnight stop

What a great find. It's a very small park but so clean and quiet. Easy access off the highway and just down the street from 2 gas stations. The owners were the nicest people. They made us feel so welcomed. We were 70 foot with our tow and had plenty of room in our spot. Don't expect to just show up and get a spot. The place was full and we were there in the off season. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

We've stopped here several times traveling to and from SW Missouri to visit relatives in Council Bluffs IA and Sioux Falls South Dakota and have been treated like family by John and Edna, sadly the flood may have too much this time for them to recover from. The first time we stopped they had just reopened from a previous flood, may God bless you in this difficult time.
