No shade here in the pull-through sites, but it provided great signal for both Dish and Verizon. There are back-in sites that provide great shade in the mornings. The campground was clean and provided full-hookups. The restroom was not in service at the time of our stay which was not a problem for us. There is a wonderful walking trail on the other side of the bridge leaving the campground that we enjoyed walking along the Roubidoux River. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed here two nights while in town for son's sporting event at the local high school. The grounds are near a creek that does flood and it looked like it had recently been repaired after such an event. Trees/shade are minimal and the tree line near the creek had lots of recent flood debris. No playground or pool, just a portable but very clean restroom trailer. Full hookups. Not the best, but not the worst either but the price was great @ $20/night. The one thing we did miss was a picnic table.
Our second stay at this campground for another visit with our soldier at Fort Leonard Wood. Staff so helpful as our schedule changed twice! Appreciated the new gravel added for less mud when it rained. Nice hike to the Springs. Great place for the price.
