We have stayed at this state-of-the-art park three times, and we highly recommend it, although the price is a little stiff. On our first stay, we paid $50 ($50 for a standard site minus $5 AAA/Good Sam discount plus $5 tax). On our next two stays, we paid $45. (You receive an additional $5 off if you return within 30 days of your previous stay.) All sites have level, concrete pads. Pull-through sites are surrounded by gravel; back-in sites have grass side yards. Be careful not to leave items outside overnight, as the automatic sprinklers will douse them. All sites have picnic tables. The clubhouse building is spacious and immaculate. It also houses pristine toilets and showers as well as a laundry room. We did not use any of the recreation facilities (e.g., swimming pool and pickleball court). We are not gamblers, so we did not take advantage of the free shuttle bus to the casino (which is within walking distance of the park). The gas/convenience station associated with the casino is about a 1/2 mile from the park. It is well supplied but - as expected - expensive. The entire facility is fenced and gated, and you are given an access card upon check-in. The dog parks are smallish, but walking the paved perimeter of the park is .8 miles, so it's easy to get in a good walk. Although we are never wild about paying $45-$50 for a one-night stay, every once in a while it's nice to treat ourselves to such a great facility.

One of the best I've seen along I-40 or I-10. Nice open layout with very wide and very long sites, some with grass, and a beautiful clubhouse. A short walk to the casino.

| Great stop with casino

Very nice, clean and well maintained. Casino is a little small and you can t drink while gambling/at tables or slots which we found odd, but apparently the normal in New Mexico. But restaurant and bar areas to enjoy, all good. Campground is right off I40.

| Fabulous full service RV park

By user-5927736... on 2019-08-09.

We like to stay in casino RV parks for overnight stops on long trips in our motorhome. They are usually no-frills parks (mostly parking lots), convenient to the highway, with onsite restaurants, good access to diesel and good security. This park was a total surprise! This is a fully developed RV park, with big-rig friendly asphalt roads, concrete pads, spacious landscaped sites, picnic tables, fire pits, a very nice clubhouse, pickle ball court and an excellent pool/hot tub area with beautiful views of the mountain range south of Albuquerque. It is right off of I40, but the RV park is behind the casino and very quiet. They run a shuttle with door-to-door service to the casino and a couple of local attractions, but it is also a pleasant walk to the casino. There are several good restaurants inside.

Route 66 was beyond what I was expecting! Very happy that we stayed here for a few days after being on the road for a couple of days. They have 2 dog parks that were great to get our dogs into and run around. They also have 2 laundry facilities, work out area, clubhouse and many outdoor activities during the warmer months. Restrooms/ Showers are very clean. The Casino is within walking distance and we checked out Buffet 66 Fresh Market. If ever in the area again differently will stay here again! Thank you:)

Campground is part of the casino. Campground is about two years old. All spots have picnic tables and fire rings. All spots have full hookups. They do have pull throughs for big rigs with trailers. Very nice Campground.

Have stayed here several times on our way south and return. Great staff and they are there 24/7. Don t even need to unhook, shuttle picks you up for casino and food. Great restaurants and gaming. Shuttle drivers provided quick service and super people.

Stopped here on our way back easy from San Diego. The staff at the office is very helpful, they drive out to show you where your campsite is. They pick your trash up for you in the morning. Very nice pool and large hot tub, there s a splash pad type entrance to the pool for the little ones.
