Site improvements to campground make the spaces very pleasant. Owners make every effort to accommodate special requests. Trails in the campground are well maintained and help give campers and their pets space to exercise.

| No stars! No class!

This is a nice enough campground with the exception of the ownership. They are rude and surly! I witnessed them throw people out of the park because 1 family had a child dive into the pool onsite and 1 family ejected for a little dog that barked a little. My dog barks more than the family that got thrown out. Neither family was given any of their money back for the nights they were not allowed to stay in this campground AND the owners promptly put new victims in the spots he vacated with the other families. The view is nice of the Royal Gorge but you will be on pins and needles the whole time if you stay here. There are several campgrounds in the near vicinity - do yourself a favor and pass Royal View by! Oh and by-the-way, I had NO run ins with the owners. I just witnessed gross injustice to other campers.

| Great campsite

My wife and I spent 3 nights over the 4th of July and enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The sites were shaded with mature trees, the amenities such as the refreshing pool, mini putt, horse shoe pits, and the running course on the 50 acre property were a bonus. It also had a frisbee golf setup. The staff were quite accomodating to us and the fellow campers seemed to be quite happy also. Grounds were kept very clean. I'd recommend this campground.
