Rufus rv park is up the hill on Wallace street. Not where the link takes you. There is Eds rv park where the link takes you. Eds rv park has 5 spaces next to road. Rufus is up the hill had many sites but needs some tlc. Many locals and possibly fishermen stay here.
This place is a dump. I want to talk to one we got in, several electrical outlets broken and laying on the ground, bathrooms unkept and dirty. The only reason we stayed here was to get out of the severe wind.
Clean but very basic.
Dan owns this place now and he is doing a great job adding capacity. Bath/showers are new. Stayed the weekend and very pleasant. There are two sections that are not exactly connected so coming from the east, take the first left and choose which entrance to take based upon your spot number. I would stay there again if my future travels put me in the area.
We were pleasantly surprised with the new lower campground section. We only needed an overnight stay and have our own facilities in the motorhome. We chose a new W/E/S pull-through on the newly graveled lanes. There are a number of full hook-up pull-throughs as well as about a dozen back ins. All are level. They have created a very nice stopover RV Park, with a nice view of the Columbia river valley.
Reservations can now be made online and site selected. Just like booking airline and selecting seat. There is rules for cancellation so read and under stand. Cost $35 + $10 Registration fee. Seeing more of this form of registration site in Libby MT does same. Very Quick email response with confirmation #. So fare great, now need to make the Trip. Oh! On web site owners stated under new management and wanting to make this a exceptional RV Park. Time will tell.
We were traveling straight through on our way to S. Dakota needed a quick nite stop over. Read the mixed reviews decided to book the night. Great little spot right off the 84, nice big pull thru easy online reservation and good steak house just down the road! I would recommend this park all the way!
This is an update to my last review. This is a hidden gem of a park! Great wifi and the bathrooms are the nicest I've ever seen, nicer than in my custom built house! If your near and need a stop over this is the place!
