Reviews for Rustic Acres RV Resort and Campground

| I would stay again, but only for a night, too rustic for me

We stayed two nights on the weekend in the fall. Check in was fine, and I was guided to my site and helped to get in. Their name says it all, Rustic Acres. You are in a very rural setting, lots of tall oak and maple trees. The sites are mostly back in with a few pull-through’s. The sites are grass and / or crushed stone, ours was not level at all. When you enter the main area of the park you’ll drive down a steep pot holed narrow road with obstacles everywhere (low branches, bolders along the edge, campers) including people with poor parking skills. It looked like a lot of the campers here are seasonal with decks and more permanent structures. Also a lot of kids playing in the playground or riding their bikes. So a lot of families here. Our site was narrow, we had a picnic table and a fire ring. The hook-up’s were fine. They didn’t have any 50Amp left, so we were on 30Amp. We didn’t use the Wi-Fi as it’s a pay service. The laundry is outside under cover and the machines are old, very old. Also the bathrooms are barely passable. As I mentioned, you’re in a rural setting. Our T-mobile signal only had 1 to 2 bars. But I was able to make calls and did get some data on my hot spot. I would stay again, but only for a night. Too rustic for me.

We arrived very late to a well-lit office. The owners were there to greet us at our 2 a.m. check in. Check in was very easy in a well-lit office. We were guided to our site, it was spacious with 50 amp service. No low branches, the road was wide and recently paved. We were told the owners are new and working on improving and restoring life to the park. We planned to stay the night, ended up staying a week. Rates were fair, 35/night for 30amp electric 40/night for 50amp, extended stay pricing was extremely reasonable at 450/mo plus electric. Rustic yes, but in all the right ways! close to town with lots of amenities but you never know it. The park is very very quiet, family oriented with a playground and children program on the weekends. Community campfire was fabulous with food and music and lots and lots of laughs!!!!! We would DEFINATELY stay here again!!!

Nice campground. Friendly helpful owners. Have stayed here multiple times over the last few years as I travel for my job. Reasonable rates, kept clean and well-manicured. Pets are welcome, but the owners are responsible for them and this rule is enforced. The RV sites are large, 30 amp and 50 amp electric is available. The camp ground was quiet. The owners always escort campers to their site, even after hours with a smile. I will be returning.

| Loved the peace and quiet

Had a wonderful time here. Very clean, large level sites, both 30 and 50 amp sites, all sites FHU, staff was great and extremely helpful. Kids loved the activities program. Husband and I loved the auction they had. Would certainly stay here again!!

Nice enough rv park. Large level sites. In woods. Quiet. Mostly permanent rv units with smattering of transient sites. The residents may be seasonal but not their units. Their units are permanent. Mobile home park with folks living in RVs. Restrooms clean but more like at scout camp. Nice folks at office. Not far from food and Walmart.
