Tried calling both phone numbers and the lines are "not available" or "mailbox full". Tried using online Contact Form but got website error when clicking Submit. Tried emailing them directly and my email bounced back as "undeliverable". Shame, would have liked to make reservations.
Stayed one night, then came back for 2 more. Located near Asheville airport, and a very nice Ingles grocery store, but felt like we were far out of town. Nice clean showers & laundry. Nice pool, peaceful lake, good playground, lots of shade, friendly staff. We will stay again! John & Paula, Colorado
Stayed here for the month of Oct. in a 36' Fifth wheel and enjoyed our stay. WiFi is typical of most parks with slow speed. TV Cable was fuzzy but ok. Roads in the park are in real need of improving with some large pot holes. All in all our stay was fine but don't think I would pay the price they charge to stay here again. Our monthly rate was $850.00 plus electric deposit of $100 . Great location to local stores and attractions and I-26. Was nice but just expected something nicer for the price.
Sites are tight. Internet is not consistent. I am not a fan of how the park is laid out.
Short distance from I-26 in a residential area but close to lots of restaurants and shopping. The lake is more of a pond but nice. Greeted warmly and all seemed to be very friendly. Very nice and exceptionally clean bathrooms. Nice laundry as well. Sits on slight hill but spots pretty level. Spots are a little tight with patches of grass and some light mature tree coverage. Heavy use of gravel which looked fresh. Needed to ask to have a neighbors truck to be moved so we could back in our 38' class A. Fire rings provided. Community room clean and well decorated with furniture, ping pong, games, etc. Dog run small. Would stay again.
Stayed here for two nights. The bathrooms were clean and the site was level with all utilities working correctly. Paid $43.20 for two adults and two children including tax and Good Sam discount. Would definitely stay again.
Just got back from a long weekend in Asheville NC and a three night stay at Rutledge Lake. We have a 40ft motorhome with 2 slides and stayed on site #37. This Park is small, 75+ sites and growing. We found the Park to be very clean, nice bathhouse, laundry and pool area. Most sites appear to be level gravel with a few that are concrete pull thur. The staff was very nice and helpful and the Camp Store had the essentials for camping. The pond is nice with plenty of fishing and enough room to rent the paddle boats ($5/half day) and have some fun on the water. The rental cabins are extremely nice. Cons are that this Park seems to be constantly expanding and growing (which is good) but be careful what camp site you get. The very front sites beside the road are outside of the main campground and as of now, just a gravel parking lot with hookups. No shade and no kind of separation from the next campsite. Also the new sites in the back (70-81) are also in a fenced gravel parking lot, once again no shade and no very refined. Would I stay again at Rutledge Lake? Absolutely! Just make sure you get a established site in the campground or rent one of the great looking cabins.
Not much I can say the isn't good about this park. Staff great, store has everything you need, restrooms outstanding, site well kept and price is great. The site we stayed on was so level that we did not have to use our levelers. Wireless is iffy, connection comes and goes. Since they are expanding there is a need for another dumpster site and rest room. Only spend one night with Class-C Motorhome and towed vehicle. Would stay again.
This is one of our favorite places to stay in the Asheville area. It's a little hard to get to, but there is no road noise! The amenities are very good... pool, laundry, bath houses, propane, etc. My only negative is that the spaces are a little tight and some are not very level.
It’s a nice CG but the work campers must not like being there. Most were rude and seemed angry.
I found out too late that this park is near an airport. Interior roads are gravel so you hear every golf cart, truck or car. The staff we met were friendly. Very tight spots barely got my 36’ fifth wheel in with very little room to park my truck. WIFI signal where I am parked is non existent. I get dropped every two minutes or so.
Said I'm busy and hung up on me. Avoid this business
Stayed in a 40 ft 5th wheel in July. Had a premium lot on the lake. Easy in and out for a back in spot. Restrooms and pool were clean. Close drive to hiking and waterfalls, stores nearby. Will go back again when in area. Office staff was friendly but usually had to leave a message when calling the office.
Great pull throughs. Pond had ducks & geese. Stores & restaurants nearby.
Cute place. I d call the lake more of a big pond but lots of fishing spots, paddle boats and kayaks. About 25 minutes to downtown Asheville. I did notice a post about the airport being close but we only even heard a plane a couple of times and had I not read the post I wouldn t have noticed. WiFi is weak.
