| Great place
We stayed here over night. Pd 14.00 for out of state camping. Had a nice shady paved spot but not level. Most spots are not level. Has dump station and potable water. No electric. No Verizon cell service except on the main road and spotty at that.
| Beautiful but hot!
Located between Winnemucca and Reno this State Park was beautiful. Lots of spaces with shade (beware of low hanging branches). We enjoyed the quiet of the park. Very hot in the summer - as it’s in the desert. Parked close to the group area which would be perfect for a family reunion with bbq pit, horseshoe area. Net for volleyball or other games and lots of shade!
| Great overnight stop
This was easy access from I-80. There were many options to choose, as it was Sunday afternoon and off-season. Great lake views and quiet. We chose the boat ramp parking lot as we had a motorhome and tow vehicle, and this was easiest for a quick exit in the morning. The bathrooms were nice and there even was showers
