Yes, as the other review said, there are full timers in this park and some are in need of a face lift but we felt safe and were not bothered by dogs being off leash. We had a beautiful spot backed up right to the river. The staff were very nice and even gave us some ice so we wouldn't have to make a special trip to the store! Lots of trees (maybe not so great for satellite) and cable TV was great! We would go back to this park!
This park is full of long term residents. Junk all around & under their rv's. Dogs off leash. The rv park next door, JGW, is a million times better. I will never make this mistake again!
Nice little park close to the Sacramento River. We were aways from the river but a nice walk to see it. The wifi was awful and could not get on. We usually pick our stops based on if they have wifi so this was a disappointment.
As I was writing in my journal while I was sitting in a common area of the Sacramento River RV Resort, a woman drove up next to me and asked me if I lived at the resort. I responded no, I live in a mobile home park that is down the street from here. The woman told me sternly that I would have to leave. Since I did not see any sign on the grounds posted that indicated that the Sacramento River RV Resort was private; I asked her why do I have to leave? After I asked her that question she immediately became irate, and threatened to call the police on me. I being of African American Descent sensed that the event may have been racially motivated, and I immediately vacated the premises. This woman who presented no proof or documentation that indicated she was an authority of this Resort, was very unprofessional in her handling of the situation. I am considering opening a racial discrimination charge, in regards to this event.
