Reviews for Saddleback Mountain RV Park

| Nice place in the desert

By user-5961008... on 2017-10-23.

Because this is in the desert there is little landscaping nor WiFi nor cable but it is neat and clean. Easy on/off the highway. Highway noises were not a problem for us. Spaces are gravel and not real wide, but enough for slide outs. Would have given it a 5 if it had WiFi and cable. We camped in a motorhome. Price was $10 with Passport America.

We did not stay here this trip but have stayed there in the past so wanted to add to the reviews. This is a very nice overnight stay. There's nothing here and not much nearby, but if you are looking for a easy, safe overnight where you will not need to disconnect, then this is a great park at a great price. Seriously, how much were you expecting for $20! We would have stayed there on this trip had I not needed a fan belt and stopped in Ozona for repairs (NAPA 1/2 mile away).

| Bargain Rate Full Hookup

There is nothing fancy about this place. But their electric hookup is 50 amp and looks new. Has water and sewage. Lot 16 is the office we checked in to. I would definitely stay here again. They are on the south side of route 10. Right beside the gas station.

Great location off the I10. Gas station, mini mart, steak house, bar and love music on site. Place is clean and quiet. The managers so very nice and easy to work with. Had a great time. I would definitely stay again.

| Basic overnight stop

Perfectly ok place. However, be wary of staying in their new (barren) section if it rains. It's basically red clay with some rock mixed in. It rained during the night and we dug quite a trench getting ourselves going in the morning. We're a 22' Sprinter and really thought we were going to have to get help to get going. Also husband immediately had at least an inch of red muck stuck to his shoes when he got out to unhook us.

Nice, quiet little park. Great price. Good food at the restaurant and very nice folks. Easy access to and from I-10. The phone number is no longer valid. No office. Just go pay Angie at the bar. If you arrive after 2 pm and before 5 pm, just wait for them to reopen @ 5 or 6 pm. Great overnight stop.

A great place to stay. Sites are wide and level right next to a good fuel station. Great value, will stay there again.

| Fairly plain, 20$, fuel across from park

I can see how one would get stuck in the barren lot, its just dirt and some gravel. But, for when it doesn't rain, you get a damn good deal. Only one better is the state park (14$), but this time of year on the weekends, its booked. They have sewage, water, 50 amp, 30 amp, and standard 15 amp. Lots seem to all be pull thru.

Great place to overnight right off I-10. Not fancy but adequate for an overnight. Did not see showers or rest rooms but is a restaurant and gas station within walking distance. Also had purified water for 25 cents a gallon.

The park is full of long-term oil field workers, so they are not offering overnight reservations at this time.
