| Not the best

This is a RV/Mobile home park. We would not stay here again. We did not have a problem but it was a little creepy.

Stayed 3 nights. Parking site was ok. $4/day for wifi (could not get on after 5PM). Shower & Restrooms only open from 8:30AM - 9PM. They did not open until 9AM. No toilet tissue nor any hand washing towels or blowers. Not clean;;; Find another park

| Very quiet decent park

At first glance you may want to pass but you don't have to. It's very quiet and we had no problems. Most of the park is fixed mobile home types (and yes several kids with bikes) and some long term rvs. A few people seemed sketchy, but actually everyone was nice. There are some work garages behind the spaces but we has little if any noise there as some one put or took stuff out. Manager was very nice. We had space #3 and parked next to another traveller. We walked our dogs with no probs. And trash cans were at end of space. Unfortunately not everyone picks up after their dogs. There is a coveted picnic table outside rig. Electrical is at end of space, setup better for rigs that have it in back. Ours is on side and we used extension cable with no problems. Overall great place due to quiet and away from freeway. In daytime, you can hear a bit of noise from the Big League Dreams Little league ballpark down the way. Easy access on/ off freeway and grocery, etc. Easy drive to gulf and space Center.

| Quiet and Shaded

This is a mobile home park with working class families living here permanently however there are about a dozen shaded RV sites to accommodate any size rig. We have had good experiences here with a quiet and shaded sites each time we have come. It is less expensive than a regular RV campground, although it is not as oriented to children something like a KOA would be. We visit with family in the area, and we have been very comfortable here.

Lots of roadwork, lots of crappy trailers here. Yuck to RR/S. Laundry room locked. No signs, directions. Just a place to park. No WiFi or cable, antenna picked up several channels. Quite.

| Quiet and cheap

Some older trailers need to be taken out, you have to ask for showers to be unlocked, Wi-Fi just doesn't work. But it's Cheap, quiet , laundry is cheap and there's lots in the area to do. Second long term stay

| Good Value Park with Access to Houston & Galveston

We averaged $20 / night for W/E50/S with Passport America discount ($34 without). I've read all the negative reviews about this campground. I don't share all the concerns. Is this a beautiful and picture perfect campground. No. There were some unattractive sites with permanent residents. But we needed a safe and reasonably priced campground with access to Houston and Galveston. This totally met our needs. Kind staff, level and shady site with nice spacing between sites. For $20 / night with our Passport America discount, we it was a good value. We camped at Safari RV Park in a Motorhome. Easy access to Galveston and southern and downtown Houston. Within 15 minutes of Spacecenter Houston. San Jacinto Battleground and the U.S.S. Texas are also nearby. This ship is the only one to serve in both World Wars and well worth visiting. The aquarium downtown is spectacular!
