| Not the best. Overcharging for Power.

By user-5774143... on 2017-10-23.

Not a fan! They do not have 50AMP services and their 30AMP services are a joke. There were 8+ trailers on two 30AMP main breakers. Power went out for the row the first night we arrived. The lack of power ended up burning out the thermometer on our dryer which cost of $75 to fix. They have one dumpster which is always overflowing and no service comes to pick it up. They burn their trash on-site right in the middle of the campground. They have a lot of rules which are not listed anywhere or handed out upon arrival so they are knocking on your door everyday asking for something to be changed. Their spots are fairly large and consist of dirt and moss. Lots of tree coverage. The campground is on a small private lake where you can fish (small bass and northern were the majority of what was caught). There are no water sports and boats as listed online and on their sign, but you wouldn't want to smiw in this lake/pond anyway. They charge $325/month + electric, but camper BEWARE!!! They are overcharging for all of their power to their customers. Their power receipt has a mystery charge of x1.8 times the actual power usage. We refused to pay the 1.8 charge and paid the 1x the power we used. For those of you who do not know how to argue this matter, look at the bottom right of the meter and look for a 1 etched in black. They can only charge the actual usage in this case. Should the meter have said 1.8 or something else, then the charge could have been different. No meter in our row had a 1.8, yet they were charging everyone so. Hopefully we don't have to return to this campground as it wasn't the most comfortable stay. There is another campground 1/2 mile down HWY 2, check it out instead.
