We have stayed here once a year for the past 3yrs, the park is well kept and the shower houses are clean sites are spacious the staff is helpful and friendly . this year there was some construction going on in loop 5 but was no problem with noise , looks like some upgrades or new sites. Over all this park is well worth the visit
Stayed here for a long weekend with 40 other Scamp owners. It was hot, but most of the sites had good shade (check the ReserveAmerica site for each site's photo). The bathrooms were clean, and the park rangers were nice. We didn't encounter any rude staff, and we weren't harassed for having a group campfire (I saw reviews on TripAdvisor that mention that).
My wife and a couple of friends decided to come up to stay for a 4 day weekend. Could not ask for better accommodations for a state Park. 4 stars
