This park is a hidden gem. While the sites are few, only 6, they are adequate though a bit rough. The sites could use some improvment but still are full hook up, W/E/S 30 and 50 amp. Ranger who checked me in said improvments are scheduled for next year. The road up to the sites is tight with a very tight turn at the top of a hill but I made it just fine with my 30ft. TT. The park closes at 7pm but campers are given at code for the gate lock. Very peaceful but you do get some road noise from the main road. There are few choices for campgrounds in the Sandord area and the location of this park is the closest one to town. Activities are plentiful here too with fishing, hiking, and a great mountain bike trail. I will keep this park on my list of places to come back to.
