Reviews for Sand Hills State Park

| Stayed Again

We stayed here again this January on our way south. My only suggestion to the state park is directing arrows back to trailhead or parking lot from their many intersecting trails. Was dark when I found my way back. They let us wash the road salt off the RV on our cement pad. $24 for supreme spot. Could have corralled a horse, if had one

Corrals for horses right at certain campsites, great for pets. Camp Host even in Jan. when we were only ones here. Across the road from hiking and equestrian trails. Just a couple miles to Hutchinson. Be sure to tour Stratica, only underground salt mine tour in USA, and Cosmosphere space museum. Worth the trip to stay here.

Spot with full hookups and pull through was $23 plus $5 for our car. No trees, very windy open space.
