| Great for boondocking in the winter!

By user-5013214... on 2017-10-23.

Depending on the year & weather, this is an awesome place for winter camping. Last winter many daytime temps in the low 70's and night temps aound 35 with the potential for a freeze but if you are prepared you'll love it. Wal-Mart a couple of miles away and screaming 4Lte with Verizon.

| Don't miss stopping by here!

This place is your fishing paradise. Although, sometimes it gets windy, hence why the nearby town is called Hurricane! But the mornings are breathless and surreal with the evenings colorful at sunset! Each site is adequately level, full hookup, with table and fire ring, with plenty of space between the sites. No shade but you would want to go fishing instead! This place is not close to anything so do not expect wifi or traffic noise. TV reception and satellite were exceptional. 5 stars because it is what it is.... A great place on the plateau to camp out under the stars!

| Very Nice State Park

Pros; This park is set up nicely with beautiful views, fishing and ATVing. Many sites are spacious. Con; NO SHADE. I would rate five stars if there were any shade trees. Some mesquite or desert willows would make it nice.
