We were looking for a reasonable place to stay for a month or so down in this area. I am so glad we chose here. Each sites unique and the trees are awesome. The hotel and park experienced damage during hurricane harvey but other than a few things scattered around the park, you can't tell. The staff is friendly, the bathrooms/showers are clean and their laundry facility is in great condition. Brand new washers at $1.75 and dryers at $1.25. We paid $380 for a month with electric on top. We are close to the Oyster Fest, the beach and the small town of Fulton. Corpus Christi is only a 40 minute drive if the city life is what your seeking for fun.
