Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathrooms are clean. The river was beautiful- next time we will try to get a site right next to it. Will definitely be coming back.

| Nice stay among towering redwoods

We stayed for ten nights at Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort in our 40’ fifth wheel. This is our second stay at this campground and we will continue to make it our base for visits to family in Santa Cruz. We had site 62, a large pull-through site that was easy to access. The campground is very well maintained and clean. It was fairly crowded on the weekends, with lots of children, but there were many empty sites during the week. The laundry room was clean ($1.25 each to wash and dry). Since the sites are surrounded by very tall redwood trees, we couldn’t use our satellite but the campground cable was decent and provided 20 channels. There are eight wifi signals and the wifi worked OK, but not great, most of the time. Make sure to follow directions from website; you don’t want to drive up highway 9 from Santa Cruz. Our only real complaint is the $20 per night charge for an extra vehicle, which we think is exorbitant. We could easily have fit our second vehicle on our site but, instead of paying an extra $200 for 10 nights, we parked our tow vehicle with family in Santa Cruz which was an inconvenience.

We spent 8 nights at Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort while visiting family and thoroughly loved it. The campground is beautifully situated among the redwoods and right along the river. Our back-in site was an adequate length and width, although it was nice to have empty sites on both sides for additional privacy. The clubhouse is very nice and there is a large deck with tables and chairs overlooking the river. There are two large gas grills on the deck. The laundry room was clean. Be sure to follow directions on website. We will definitely be back. Do not attempt to drive a large rig north on Hwy 9 from Santa Cruz; it's challenging enough in just a car.

We stayed at this campground for 2 nights. It was very beautiful. Wi-Fi was excellent, laundry room was a 1.25 to wash and a dollar to dry. Very reasonably priced campground for what you get

We had a space that our trailer was surrounded by redwoods on 3 sides and a river right behind us. Absolutely beautiful place to camp for the weekend. Fire pits are available for a $5 rental as there are no pre-installed campsite pits. They are more than adequate for getting a good fire going. Our site had a picnic table and a few other sites did as well, but not every site had them. For the duration of our stay there were a lot of kids at the park which was great since my 8 year old son was with me. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had two different people help me to back into my spot and to connect back up with my trailer. Very close to Santa Cruz and all of the stuff that there is to see and do there. We had a great stay and look forward to staying again.

My wife and I stayed here for nine days and had a rather good time of it. It is popular in the summer, so it has a tendency to fill up quickly. The facilities are clean, and the new clubhouse is quite nice. There is a laundry room on site, which is helpful. The employees were professional and courteous. There is plenty to do and see in the surrounding area.

Beautiful sites between redwood trees. Nice clubhouse, friendly staff. Highly recommended. Just the fans of the shower house are a bit noisy.

This place was great! it was a beautiful location and the staff was very helpful. The only thing I wish was there was easier access to the trails that are across the river.

The only minor negative is that some spots are really small. Great location, very clean, beautiful trees. Will definitely be back.

***Didnt stay*** Wanted to stay here but they have a dog breed policy. Cotillion Gardens down the street took us in and we had a great stay there!

What a peaceful RV Resort! Reservation process over the phone was pleasant. Booked back-in site #19 in advance for $72.15/nt (4nts), paid $65 deposit. Used website directions (SR-1 to Hwy-17 to Felton to Hwy-9 from North to South) and it was easy in, easy out, plenty of space to maneuver into sites. The 50amp breaker needed replacement and it was done before we unhitched our 34ft 5th wheel from our tow vehicle! Excellent customer service, friendly neighbors, clean bathrooms, showers, laundry, fast cellular (Verizon) and Wifi service, 24 Cable TV channels, nice Clubhouse with pool table and deck/grills, only a short (but winding) drive to Santa Cruz shops, restaurants, and beach Boardwalk. Improvements: concrete slabs & a small footbridge to cross the river into the State Park to access their hiking trails. We'd love to return!
