Nice campground and very friendly and helpful staff. Camp sites are a little cramped, but well laid out. Nice dog run for your four legged family members. Verizon coverage is terrible. WIFI is slow at best. We would stay here again.

Closed November to March, but looked nice from the road. Continued on the road and found another park open ;)

| A great 3 night stay

We just stayed in this KOA for 3 nights while visiting Santa Fe and were very pleased to have a level pull thru site. The park personnel were friendly and helpful and the bathrooms, three showers and laundry room impeccably clean. My only problem was a dog barking late at night which did not affect my husband a better sleeper. We would stay here again.

The staff at this park was very helpful. The park has somewhat of a random layout, and our site was a bit tight... They have a nice courtyard area with a grill and some shaded tables. It's approximately 8 miles out of town, but I like the area. We drove over to Pecos, and took a ride up the canyon.. the scenery is stunning, and lots of deer! Cable TV, WiFi, and Cell phone service at the park was good. We left a day early, to divide up the following leg of our trip. It was after checkout, so I had no expectations of a refund. However, as we were headed out the gate, I saw one of the staff on a golf cart. I rolled down the window to let them know we were leaving (just as a courtesy), and that the site was available if needed. Later that evening, after arriving at our next campground: I checked my email to find that a refund had been issued for our unused night. Very pleasant surprise!

For us 3 stars is a bit generous. Positives: friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and somewhat usable Wi-Fi. Negatives: The dogs at the kennel next door barked much of the night which caused the dogs around us to bark quite a number of times. The spots in our section of the park were very tight and faced door to door. One of us could have extended an awning but not both. Most spots are gravel, but a number of them, like ours, were just dirt. Thankfully we had light snow and not rain overnight.

Full hook ups. Easy to level, though we stayed hooked up. Easy access for our 40 fifth wheel off of I-25. It was raining, but soil was well packed. Site D2 was a lovely spot. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

liked the woodsy atmosphere very much, amenities good, staff friendly. only stayed overnight but this would be a good choice for a multi-day stay if you have a toad to venture into town. lots to see and do there.
