I have been to a lot of parks but this one takes the cake! Stay free for up to two days and spend only $10 for the next day. They have two sites separated by baseball fields between with one having a dump station. Water and electrical is included but no sewer at each site. Wide gravel pads and lots of room for the biggest rigs. Walmart and a truck stop are close by. Would definitely cone back!

A handy little park, FREE for the first two nights. An asphalt lot with electric & water only, but part of the city park and nice enough.

Free is good. Big city park, nice lake on the north end, asphalt parking, some shade. Only drawbacks were the electric at the spot I picked was a little weak on the 30 amp breaker. Plugged in to the 50 amp with an adapter and it was fine. Nice war memorial if you like that sort of thing. Dog park, baseball diamonds, picknick tables and weak wifi signal.

| Free for 48hrs

There are actually 2 RV areas separated by a baseball field. The one to the west is nearest the showers and dump station. It is primarily concrete pad back in parking. The area to the east has mostly drive through sites. Both 30 and 50 amp hookups are available, as well as individual water connections. There's a Wal-Mart about 1 mile away. The east site has some shaded spots. It's also close to the road, but it gets quieter around 10 pm. Costs after the 3rd might is $10, payable at a lockbox near the dump station. No picnic tables or grills, but a great place to stop and explore Chanute. Good cell phone coverage on Verizon.
