| CREEPY

By user-6061777... on 2017-10-23.

We stayed here as a last resort. Creepy place I'd look for another place next time. No internet and no phone availability. The roads are horrible here. Almost everyone that came in for overnight we could here there vehicles hitting bottom. Our motor home took a beating trying to get into our assigned spot.

I refused to stay it was nothing like there website advertises. we had to almost beg to get a space on short notice at the Santa Cruz RV Park. Thank you to the wonderful woman at the front desk get us in. I would not recommend Santa Vida RV Park to anyone. Dirty, no bathrooms or showers and the pool has been empty for years.

This park is mainly full timers, I'm one of them. It's built into the side of a hill so getting around is difficult. It was created in the 60's. The showers and toilets are old but clean. There is basically grass to park or an occasional spot open. The good is it's not like the typical parking lot, but has redwood trees and beautiful vegetation year round. One can walk to the top of the hill thru a beautiful tree lined path to the top and see all of Monterey bay and play a round of frisbee golf. It's within 10 min. of 5 whole food type organic supermarkets and a Costco with fresh organic produce year round. It's also 10 min from downtown, boardwalk park, pier and beaches. If you expect a RV resort, this not it. If you need a place to stop for the night this will work. Santa Cruz is a place of 1000 sqft $650,000 homes and $100 plus hotels.
