My husband parked our camper here. I attempted to go drop our kids off in a different vehicle, so I didn't think I needed to stop and register. When I passed the office, my kids to me the lady at the office was flagging me back, so I backed up and explained what I was doing. She treated me like I was a criminal and was extremely rude.
Friendly staff! Willing to provide you with all the info for the park. Clean campground, pet friendly. Close to stores, we forgot a few things... And it's open all year!!
We stayed 2 nights with a lakefront site. It was absolutely beautiful! Well kept, bathrooms could of been a little more clean but plenty of hot water and water pressure. Very nice playground and space for the kids to ride bikes etc. Sites have plenty of space so you are not right on top of other people! Close to shopping and dining. Would stay again! A+++
Horrible! Absolutely the most disgusting experience I've ever come across at any parks. As soon as we got there a nice lady who was walking nearby our camp told us to watch out for obnoxious staff members who supposedly often issue huge fines for every little thing they can. And sure enough 5 minutes later 2 idiot volunteers came by and started complaining to us about the 2 extra cars that we just temporarily parked there in order to unload few things. Fair enough, we told them we'd move the cars shortly. Then they started making up rules about requiring to have a tent setup in-place in 30 minutes or less or else we can't be at the park and they would have to kick us out?? Like really? Who does that?? We weren't being loud. We didn't have any music playing. We didn't bother anybody. We didn't even have any neighbors nearby. My friends didn't want to deal with any of this any further and decided to just leave. Out of all the parks in the world, this one I would stay away from until they get nicer people to work in there. Idiots!!!
